If it wasn’t for liberals like the guy in PA these people never would never had been living like they were. They would have had jobs and been in a better location. But thats what you get when you hand out money you get people that can’t take care of themselves and are to stupid to get out of town when a storm comes. You also get people that loot the city.

Here in Louisiana we are sick of people in other states telling us whats going on here. You don’t know anything you are not here shutup!

Sorry you dont know what raceism is bud. Its being against someone just because they are black. We never even said the word black. We are talking about the people from N.O. not blacks.

Those people were renters and people on HUD they wasted all the money.

You are a comcast customer in PA how would you know what we saw here in Louisiana? Were still having to put up with this trash here in La.

First off, the cards did more help then good, prolly 90 percent of pepole used them for legit purposes. Secondly, with every system there is room for abuse, do we stop helping anyone beacuse of a few bad apples of course not. Because they wasted every dime of it on strip joints and other crap instead of getting out of the shelter.

Others living in motel rooms bought big screen TV to put in the rooms.

Renters shoud never be given any FEMA money. Only home owners and landlords should receive FEMA money. Renters have no home loss they can just move.

I can’t believe this comment, how insensitive stupid and ridiculous does the lady sound to write how people living in a shelter did not need the money alloted by FEMA, opposed to people that had somewhere to stay. Where is the logic behind that statement, I would love to know.

As we predected Red Cross now says that it had huge fraud with its debt cards. Many people signed up
fior cards and then got back in line to get cards over and over again. others signed up for cards who were not even from NO. As I said cards are being used to buy Tvs, Expensive luggage, Rolex watches, sex toys and all kinds of things. Some are selling the cards to others for less than cash value. Even tho I understood what poor people would do with cash looks like everyone else was very surprised.

Thats why they are poor they waste every dime they get on junk. If we are ever allowed to see the full reports on what the debt cards were used for you will find out what welfare money is being used for. In fact perhaps we should issue debt cards instead of welfare checks then we would know.

States already know what food stamp money is being spent on because they have switched to debt cards. Expensive cuts of meat, candy ice cream custom made cakes. In fact most all of the expensive items in the food stores are being sold on food stamps. Meat is used for dog food. And one lady has told me she cooks by melting candy bars into the food.
Reports now show that over 50% of the poor are mentely insane and have minds like children. I think we should eleminate the food stamp program and ship MRIs to them in the mail.
