Local Winnfield man tries to visit Obama and gets busted. Claims he invented hydroelectric venturi
Have not reported on this since I never received all the facts but the Winnfield man that got busted trying to visit Obama was the local junk man who owned the ‘Mr Can Man’ where you could sell your cans and scrap he later closed the Winnfield store but still owns the Can Man in Natchitoches Louisiana.
Used to drive a old junk truck around town full of old scrap and later bought the old Blair Wrecker service flat bed truck after Blair died. Before the place was taken by the new 5 lane road the city received many complaints asking for him to clean up his junk yard.
Turns out that years before we knew him as the local junk man he taught industrial arts in Natchitoches.
Alfred J. Brock drove to DC after taking up money from locals and as he says got stopped at a road block and when he was asked if he had a gun said yes. Turns out he never listened when I tried to warn him abut liberals and gun control back in the 90s. And had his 22 with him.

He claims to have invented the “hydroelectric venturi.” and wanted to show it to Obama as the solution to Obama’s energy plan. He has even made a sign to hold up “200,000 jobs, Mr. President, I have your energy plan.” With Your spelled with Yo above ur.
He has now taken up money from people ‘investors’ to get this thing patented. Kind of feel sorry for this old guy he is likely going to get riped off by the patent attorney.
So local man reinvents hover dam loads it in his PU and drives to DC to show Obama. Gets arrested for not knowing about gun laws, Gets Psychiatric exam and comes back to Winnfield still thinking he will get to see Obama.

Brock said, “When the president came in, he had campaigned on energy conservation, and I knew I had it. I always had this idea, and I knew it would work. I didn’t get to talk to anyone, But the defense attorney I had — he was a court-appointed lawyer — he told me to send it to him and he would see that it got to the right people.”
Brock said another lawyer has been engaged to prepare an application for a patent on the invention.

The venturi idea simply increases the force of flowing water by funneling the flow into a narrow outlet, he said. Power would be generated by a series of paddles arranged in a manner similar to a windmill and set in the venturi canal.
